Get involved with The Favela Foundation!

There are plenty of ways to get involved with The Favela Foundation, ranging from hosting a bake sale to running a marathon! Rebecca, our Head of Fundraising, looks forward to how you can get involved in 2019.

We have some exciting and unique opportunities for you to support The Favela Foundation coming in 2019, and tons of ways in which you could make a difference today!

Get Involved!

Your donations help us support projects like Instituto Wark, which offers free art classes to young people in Rocinha

Who'd have thought you could attend Britain's biggest festival and support education in Brazilian favelas at the same time? We have spaces available to join us at Glastonbury 2019 on The Favela Foundation Recycling Crew! To find out more and apply for your place on the crew visit the Get Involved page on our website and get in touch!

If you'd rather be running than dancing, we also have one place available at The London Marathon 2019! If you're passionate about supporting education in Brazil and fancy your chances over 26.2 miles through the capital, then please get in touch and apply. All we ask is that you fundraise for The Favela Foundation and help us to continue supporting our partners in Brazil. If you already have a place at the London Marathon, and would like to fundraise for The Favela Foundation then please get in touch!

We hugely appreciate any support you give The Favela Foundation, and if you can't wait until 2019 there are plenty of ways you can help support us. We were delighted to receive a generous donation from Roundthorn Primary Academy's Year 4 class earlier this year from their arts and crafts sale. These donations make a huge difference, so why not try a bake sale at work, take on a 10k, or even give a triathlon a go like volunteer Mike did earlier this year.

Whether you fundraise, volunteer, or simply like our Facebook page, it all makes a difference. Thank you for your ongoing support, and make sure you visit our Get Involved page to find out how you can help!
